Can we please see how many people are queued up for a particular planet? This way we can better determine if the wait will be long or short and choose a more active planet.

This would be a huge plus. Planet "populations" when it's selected. How many people are needed to launch the attack/defense.
Probably one of the better suggestions I've seen since CW launched and there have been some really awesome suggestions.
