You wait in the queue for 5-10 minutes and another 4 minutes in the group room to drop into a g******* pve co-op raid?
Really?

Not sure how they'll get around this one. It's not like they can call a planet "off limits" to attackers just because no one will show up to defend it.

Yeah, you get to take 5 minutes and make a free 150k cbills.

It is a bit silly though, hopefully they can do something to improve it.
Two things that come to mind is limiting the number of planets that can be under attack in a given faction, so the defenders are less spread out, and secondly the player an option to que for defence without selecting a planet, giving the MM a pool of defenders to place where needed.

Wait times will go down as more people queue for attacks, and more people will queue for defense once attacks come more regularly.

A duplicate thread that repeats the same thing as 20 other threads? You've GOT to be ***** me!
Seriously, Russ has already said they're working on how to fix that and it's not all due to player populations.

I like the idea of a pair of checkboxes for random matches, so if you don't want a particular planet, you can just check Attack, or Defend, or both, and hit Go, and it finds you the fastest possible match. For those that don't actually care one whit about, well, Community Warfare.

Once matches start coming faster, I'm betting more people will start queueing. Also, if you really want to RP, the private doesn't choose his battlefield, he goes where the general sends him.

ok.. two things..
First.. Merc's should be able to take any contract. and it's any contract that's available. Whoever thought up a faction based "mercenary" system needs to rethink their drink. People don't pay good money to have contractor's just sit around and do nothing. Planetary defenders.. sure.. House units..yep... Mercs? no. Mercs should be able pop into the most needy queue available.
Second. nobody is going to send mercs into an uncontested fight. That's what second line units are for. No paymaster is going to waste money on paying someone to do what a drafted army also do for cheaper.

I actually wouldn't mind a bit of PVE, if it was challenging enough for a 12-man group to win.

They just need to give us info on where the players are queuing up at. It's a really simple fix to this problem.

It's almost as if its an obvious feature that should have been implemented in the two years leading up to CW.
