I think we need some kind of way to call in ammo drops from the dropships.
Because not really "fair" for people who use auto cannons/missles and not so much lasers/ppcs.

Yes! Ammo crates dropped from the sky! With rockets and miniguns and land mines!

Or learn how to build your mechs not soooo ammo dependent?

I dont want to see this ever. This is why Eject made it into CW. If you are running low on armor/ammo. Come back in a fresh 'mech. You must also balance firepower with ammo.
Example: Instead of 4 LRM 15s on a Stalker... try 3 with a boat-load of ammo. Instead of 4 AC/5s, try 3, with more ammo.

If you burn through all of your mech's ammo without making a significant enough contribution to warrant changing mechs, ammo drops won't help you.

So, last night when I ran out of ammo at 4 kills and 12 assists, and close to 1000 damage in an LRM boat but was still at 80% because of the advantageous nature of defending in CW, I didn't make a significant contribution?
That said, no to ammo drops. Bring a Medium laser or more ammo or something.

Why don't we reintroduce MFB's. They will drop with your team and people can go for ammo fill ups and repairs but they can be destroyed by enemies and if it's destroyed by enemies all the ammo will blow up and kill anything within a 100 m radius of it including the person repairing

How do you figure that? More ammo always helps.
Yes, but claiming that the game is unfairly biased towards energy weapons is note true. I'm saying that if you shoot every ounce of ammo you've got, you should be able to change mechs and feel good about it (because you've done so much damage that ditching your current mech doesn't give the team a big advantage because you've already killed / critically wounded 3 / 4 enemy mechs).
If that isn't the case, you need to work on your accuracy.
It's the case with LRMs: people claim you need 10+tons of ammo to be effective. That's not true - you need 10+ tons to be able to spam constantly. If you're intelligent with your usage of LRMs you can easily do tons and tons of damage with half that amount of ammo.a

In your case yes, you can ditch your mech and feel OK about it (because you've clearly made an impact). My point was that if you fire everything and haven't made an impact, the problem isn't the lack of ammunition, it's your marksmanship.
