It doesnt matter what planet me or my group picks. If we respond to a popup, read the boards, follow NGNG stream, go on flashing icons in the list, choose ones with recent battles in the history list, whatever.

IS players are getting dumped onto planets that clan is invading.

Doesn't matter if we picked defend or attack, we get Counter Attack on a clan invasion planet.

Not what we picked. Not who we picked. Not where we picked.

I'm ok with there being long wait queues. I'm NOT ok with bait and switch. If I pick a f**king planet, then let my a$$ sit THERE til a match happens or nothing happens at all and I get tired of waiting and drop off.

DO NOT drag my a$$ up to a clan planet to fight a clan battle on Counterattack against some other team.

This is not like setting the conquest, assault or skirmish flags and bitching because we got one we selected we didn't like. We picked a specific place to drop. Drop us there or don't drop us at all.

Whether you are the "attacker" or "defender" of a planet does not seem to indicate if you will be attacking or defending in the game. That seems to be based on who has control of the planet. So if the planet is currently your's but the enemy has enough wins to take it over at the end of the day you will be "counter attacking" to try and take back the planet.

I've not observed the planet changing, however.

The battle phase is about 6 hours long and the ceasefire phase is about 15 minutes long. At the end of the ceasefire phase planets change hands.

To make sure we're talking about the same thing, I'm not observing his issue of the planet I selected to fight on changing.

I'm confused. The game doesn't automatically send you to different planets. Or at least, I haven't noticed it.

I've never seen it change planets.
Attack/Counter-Attack/Defend modes all depend on what state the planetary control is in, not on just if you are Attacker (trying to take the planet) or Defender (Owner of the planet). When an attacker is successful and gains a token, the Defenders have to counter-attack to remove the token. This is when the Defender ends up on the attack. It's not moving the planet you are on; you are trying to win back lost territory on that planet.

No. I understand the whole attack defend counterattack token mechanic.

The engine is moving us from say Rochelle to ICAR. Or Somerset to Turtle.

We documented it. Its BS.

To top it off its netted us 11 Counterattacks in a row and counting.

I think the CW MM is in desparate need of IS counterattackers and is poaching them wherever it can find them.

I think the system isn't working right yet since it's a beta that launched just a couple days ago.

My guess is like they've been saying for a couple years, when it's said and done, planetary capture of specific planets will bring more tangible rewards or bonuses to the capturing force, and by extension, the faction they're working for.
