I am very interested in BT lore and used to love MW3 when I was younger, but I have never really delved deep into BT lore, so I am not sure if mines were ever used against Mechs.

But the other night while stomping past the 'tank trap' style barriers on Boreal Vault, I was thinking about mines being in between them, forcing us to stomp on them.

Just an idea

What does everyone think of a mine system, maybe where lights and mediums could scout ahead and lay mines that would damage the legs of any mech that stepped on them? Either multiple small damage mines, or one or two large damage ones.
