Do you think they will come out with a new line of action figures based on the new game. Wishful thinking.

the whole franchise seems so ready for it... I mean litterally anything could act as a tipping point that could bring BT to household everywere..
i wish they could work out the harmony gold thing.. i used to love the macross models and stuff when i was a kid, and continue eyeing the killer resin models some of the fan art guys are selling but damn.. 120 for a model? too much for me. especially since my next "toy" will be a thrustmaster warthog.

They could create some paper models using their textures. Would be nice to be able to buy maps and action figures. I think there is a company that print color 3D models of your character from WOW, why not from MWO?

Possibly, possibly not.

Piranha Games, as far as I know, holds the rights to making "MechWarrior" videogames; not sure how much influence they have on the other parts of the BattleTech IP, such as miniatures and other merchandise.

I would love to see a line put out buy McFarland or someone like that. I'm sure they would be able to sell a few. :)

Personally I'd love to see these models come out on a good Hi Rez 3D printer and in scale with other battletech minis, since these designs are MUCH sexier than the ones being produced for the TableTop game. Sadly, I doubt it will happen, but the TT version of battletech could sell SO much better if their miniatures could bring the sexy like so many of their competitors.

New resin models would be great!!! Never had a chance to do any Mech kits before.

I have been doing resin model kits for about 20 years, everything form WW2 armor/planes/ships/figures to Sci-Fi, Battlestar Galacitca's Colonial Viper (Mk II and Mk VII) the Cylon Raider (old and new versions) and StarTrek.

I love the effort it takes to build and the outcome of that effort being on display. It is a labor of love for sure.

Only thing that could effect a resin model of a Mech is the company that manufactures it. Would need to be a good company such as Hasagawa, Tamiya, Bronco, Dragon Models or Zvezda. Those, IMO, are the top dogs in the manufacturing of resin models. The detail is what will make or break the model kit.

If MWO became big enough and well played, with a fanbase of over 500,000: Maybe.

Not really, they're small and pretty undetailed. If there has ever been a time for Catalyst to offer fans physical representation of there favorite mechs that didn't fit into the palm of there hands it would be now with Alex Iglesias, the Hajime Katoki of Battletech, at the helm.Does anyone else think he is a gift to mankind?
