That has to be a record for me, I think. When we get rid of those PvE drops, CW should generate a fairly nice income.

Lucky for me, I activated premium time while I was waiting for the matchmaker to find me a match.

Matchscore: 327
7 kills, 27 assists, 2375 damage
1651 loyalty points
742,046 C-bills
8473 XP

Not when you count in 2 hours of waiting for every 30 minutes of play.

This will probably go away when we can see how many people are in any given lobby. Right now, we can't tell if we're the only one waiting for a match to happen, or if matchmaker has 23 people and just needs one more for the match to start. So some people are probably waiting in an empty lobby when they should be moving to another planet, while others are probably leaving the queue when they should be waiting for that last person to join.

When PGI fixes this, wait time will go down.

Holy crap, you must have a good PC that can play this game mode without a slide show?

Seems the Ghostbears have all the good units atm, they seem to be hte ones winning.

I have had one that would have been 1 mil with premium; 748k without. A 414 match score.

Whether it's better or worse than PUG matches is debatable, since most CW matches are around the 500-600ish, while a PUG win is generally 150-220 with a Hero. Depending how long that CW match lasts, it could be faster to grind the 8ish minute PUG ones.

Plan your dropdeck to be in a Hero/Champion 'mech at finish to get your Cbill bonuses too.

CW is hardly a money maker for most players it like people posting the 300k earnings from normal matches they are statistically anomalies and hardly the norm for most players. You have a chance to decent amount of c-bills from defending with attacking its zerg rush so you get pitiful amount of c-bills for winning sometimes less than 1 normal game. Personally they need to enact minimum earnings for losing 300k and for winning 400k.

Nah, I often have less than 10 frames per second. Especially on Boreal Vault. It adds a whole new dimension to gameplay when you have to choose your attack angle to ensure that you have as few mechs in your field of vision as possible, giving you higher FPS.

Ghost Bears don't have all the good units, and probably none of the best units, but they do seem to have a larger number of good units.

If the CW queue is improved like Russ has talked about, the queue time should be reduced considerably. And while the solo queue does have a fair amount of roflstomps, I feel like CW leads to more even scores. Of all my matches, I've only had a single flat out failure which resulted in horrible rewards. In the solo queue, it seems like I'm on the wrong end of a roflstomp more often.

Ironically, it's not a good idea to win too soon in CW. You have to spend the 2-3 waves grinding kills and scoring points for those C-bills, and then go for the kill towards the end of the match

I don't really think there should be minimum earnings, but I would definitely like to see a mechanism where you're rewarded for getting the fast victory. From a military perspective, it makes no sense to reward people for sacrificing 40 mechs to get the job done, if you can win the battle in one decisive strike and only lose 5-6 mechs in the process.

Best so far was 988k. I've had some surprisingly low wins around half a mill...and my highest loss was around 600k.

This is why I wish 8-mans were a thing.

Hear me out:

- Many games on the hot map are devolving into zerg rushes
- Many games on the cold map devolve into fighting at range at/over the gates

Reduce both teams to 8 mechs, you have a much lower chance of zerging waves to successfully destroy the cannon, and much lower chance of ridgecamping to completely hold back the enemy.

Thus creating gameplay that gives everybody the kind of c-bills, exp, and loyalty points seen here in this thread.

Cause, I've had plenty of games just like Nicolai's, mostly in solo pug vs solo pug where nobody really focused on objectives - instead, focused on straight up mech-on-mech combat, and were able to do so without either side resorting to some kind of gimmick. Whether it's a win or a loss almost becomes irrelevant (to me) at that point.

Obviously for those interested in holding planets, that's a different story, but still...those 50mil cbill loyalty rewards oughta be a motivator here, people!

yea its nice to see those numbers but then you realize even if you get into a match instantly (highly unlikely)
that took 30 minutes to get, the average skirmish mode match is like 6 minutes
so you could get in 5 skirmishes in the same time as one CW (again removing wait times since CW would be worthless if we included it)

with premium time my avg skirmish decent match was around 200k my high norm though was 300k best id hit 500k(perfect sitaution) so if i won 5 in a row (it happens) and do well in each match (again happens)
id make anywhere from 1 million to 1.5 million cbills

so while the income from a CW win (if you are defending) look great they are actually lower than what Skirmish would be.
Notice i specified DEFENDING, i have yet to see an attacking match where i earned more then 300k with premium win or lose.

not saying its impossible but with current tactic to win being zerg doesnt leave alot of time to try to earn cash.

i have a bad feeling instead of bumping Attacker rewards they will just nerf Defender rewards.

you should be penalized 1 million c-bills for killing me in the CW drop last night...
