I like doing things in 3s, so here's 3 simple tips.

1) Choose a planet that has token #s that are not 0 (as defenders) and 11 (as attackers).

This will assure you will get a match, since there is a focus on both sides to finish the job... guaranteeing drops.

2) Wait 5 mins minimum, 10 min maximum.

If you're fortunate, this is a non-issue. It is best to follow rule #1 first to minimize the wait.

3) When the popup for "call to arms" occurs, quickly join in.

Usually on defense, the game informs the faction in a 5 min window. This is a guarantee that a match needs to be filled by defenders... or you get the "dreaded" no opfor defense (which is great for the attackers, not so much for the owning faction).

Extra special tip)

If you don't have enough people to fill a 12-man, consider splitting up the group into 2 or 3 groups... or at "best".. dropping solo in a sync drop fashion. This will give the MM a chance to get a number of your players in if the grouping is difficult to fill at the time. It helps a lot to coordinate with other units in the same faction to do the same when the MM is struggling at certain locations of importance (based on suggestion #1).

I hope this helps everyone drop in quickly.

If you all are trying to coordinate an attack/defense on a planet... make sure a fair number of people are aware of it... instead of trying to drop into planets you are defending with 0 tokens or planets you are attacking with 11 tokens. This is what drives people crazy.
