Highly recommend players go out and buy a second monitor if their video card supports it. I'm not recommending playing the game duel screen, but to have a secondary monitor to control a IE/Firefox/Chrome browser window, TS3/C3/voice comms, check email, Facebook, etc. Play the game in full window mode and leave the Windows desktop on the secondary monitor. If price is an issue be advised the smaller square flat monitors are showing up in the thrift stores dirt cheap.

Plus having a second monitor is great for the long waits to get into a game. And as long as guys stay away from the high bandwidth/high video apps it will not bother their MWO game much. You can even bring up the maps on Smurfy to read the grid squares. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...rost&m=invasion Knowing where " 3 lights at F6" is while outside of the mini-map is a nice thing.

*Casually looks at the dust collected on his second monitor.*
There is a point...
*Doesn't touch it.*
It's good to know I could do it if I felt like it. :)

(It's only 22 inches versus my TV-monitor. It's really hard to 'go back').

Second monitor is great for playing another game while you wait for a CW match.

MWO on the left, Worms Armageddon on the right

Ok.. i got a question... what about performance? I have never used two monitors.. But this post has me wondering, What about using my on-board video for a second, and my main graphics card for my main?

I have an old CRT 17 inch collecting dust in my room.. (though really it is for my other comp which i should really get running, but that is an entirely different story)

any thoughts on this? or can't i do it, or would i just get a huge performance hit? as it is, i run the game on medium, and get about 45 FPS.. not sure i would want to go any lower.

Depends on what graphics card you have?
