As stated i havnt selected any of the faction content, and really have no desire to do so ATM, so how does this effect me, can i just leave it till i have a desire to do so? or do i have to select it now, can anyone clarify?

I would just pick them all. The cockpit items aren't anything special. It's the colors that are important. No limits to what mechs you can use them on. Those Ghost Bear blues are great, the Smoke Jaguar Red is intense, and the Jade Falcon Lime Green creates radioactive mechs. What's not to like?

Well I could have asked for:

Factions patterns that actually allowed me to change the colors. My Units colors are Black, Grey and Red and the Clan Wolf faction pattern would have been awesome in that color.

Ability to select 4 Clan Wolf Warhorns while still being able to get entire spectrum of colors and patterns. I mean I am never going to use any of the horns except the Wolves so I was forced to either miss out on the horns or the colors and patterns. I chose the colors an patterns however I also expected the patterns to allow me to change colors so now I am totally regretting my choice. I mean I won't use the patterns because I can't swap colors, I won't use 3 of the 4 horns because they aren't Clan Wolf so in the end, I ended up with 12 colors which I could probably have bought for less than 1000 MC.

I guess my issue is it would have been nice to know in advanced I couldn't swap colors on the patterns because they were the entire reason I went with choice all 4 factions.

I also picked all four expecting I could change colors on the faction camos. Though even knowing, I would have picked all four to get the 12 different colors anyway. It's a good mix for the Polygon camo we got. I can make desert camo, or winter camo, or night camo, or Candy Land camo with the Polygon, it's pretty versatile.

The official response to the question of changing camo is that we will be able to, eventually. Russ said this himself, but it will be sometime next year.

Thanks for pointing that out because it makes me feel better about my choice. I try to keep up with all the news but it isn't always possible to catch everything.

Still wish I could have selected 4 Wolf horns though especially since I am on a permanent contract with Clan Wolf.
