Delta Galaxy is looking at putting up a Wolf Hub TS server.

How many groups would be willing to setup shop on a 512 man server? If there is enough interest, we can start doing this. It would be open to any wolf unit to use as their base of operations, in addition to being a new home for Delta.

Thoughts?

Well, Strana Mechty is already underused, so i would say we should just use it instead of paying for another one..

This would be under a free license...

However, I thought, if nothing else, smaller groups could use it, or anyone seeking to spare themselves a TS cost monthly.

Like I already said, I also have a free server in London. Well, it is actually not free, I pay for it, but I use it for my personal stuff, but I have space and bandwith for a TS server.

So what I am saying, I am interested. But it would probably be also nice if we Europeans have a Wolf TS server.

Any way this goes, I salute it!

EU and NA units welcome firestorm. We would love to have the German Wolves with us on TS.

I repeat once more - our server already have 512 free places and always open for all. And I don't think that we need another one.

Btw, ts.clanwolf.ru staying not in Russia but in Germany and have a good ping to all.

+1 for trying but its for the same reason the Grand Council didnt work nor would a Committee. Big shots all want theirs to be the hub, nobody wants to put their ego aside for the betterment of Clan Wolf.

Did not even think otherwise. I was thinking more from the lag perspective. But if you have everything prepared, CWG will be more than glad to take part and also help out with this in any way we can!

Well, I do not understand. It is a centralized TS server for all Wolves. If worse comes to worse, leaders of each galaxy could get same permissions on the servers, and so on. And in the end, does it even really matter on which hardware and location this TeamSpeak runs? As long as it is not called Clan Wolf <Enter your Galaxy here> TS server, but a MWO Clan Wolf CW Server or something, I'm fine with it. We need to make this _our_ server, and not fight over ownership and what not.

At first I was like this as well, with a local gaming community TS server, trying to get people to use my server and mine alone, got my epeen bigger with more users on it. Now I have quite a nice sum of players on there daily, and I do not even care. Do not know when I last logged in to be honest.

We don't want to be an "ilWolves". We only already have a big space teamspeak server and ready to take on it all wolves who need it. Leaders of units who need teamspeak will get admin permissions.
And... I'm already have 20+ bookmarks in my teamspeak like a lots of galaxies, clan hub, comstars, mercstar etc. and I think that I don't need much more...

Well, that is just it...this would have a goal of ultimately having minimum 3-4+ Wolf units on the same Server...

I was thinking we could call the server Clan Wolf Hub, or "The Rock"

Our TS at CWI is a mix of three Galaxies... Three individual units who have banded together under the CWI banner... Only difference from independent units is that we are all three banded together under the same leadership.

I'm perfectly content visiting other sites, having others visit mine, and making sure we send in "runners" to communicate every few hours or as needed for thirty seconds. It's not a big deal to me.

We're not egotistical and would be happy to work together on it regardless of "who is in charge".

We have our own teamspeak servers but will link up on there if something big is happening. Likewise if Beta has open spots and wants to link up we can use that as well.
