The API under https://static.mwome...cw/mapdata.json yields a result like:
        "owner": {
            "id": "1",
            "name": "Piranha Games",
            "icon": "https:\/\/static.mwomercs.com\/img\/house\/piranha.png"
        },


I do not think that all these backslashes should be there.

That's right. It's escaping them out essentially.
