Trying To Drop At Cw....failure.

Almost an hour trying to decipher where to go, what to attack, what to defend, wait 10, 15, 20 mins, yay! we got a drop...we fight turrets...

This is just stupid!! Why did PGI limited our attack window? we can only attack 1 planet from FRR, even when we opened a corridor to fight kurita space....

Then, our other options are, Attack Ferris (CW cry babys), Attack CSJ and finish them....We want to fight IS, not other clans. We are trying to defend other clans planets, but guess what...no matches....

Stupid, PGI, this move is just stupid.....

so you should be able to just pick a planet across the entire galaxy to randomly attack...?

Not sure what you're suggesting here.

getting play time? what do u think im suggesting? I want to drop! my unit wants to fight, not sit there for hours and shoot turrets...

Yesterday there were no problem, we could attack 2 planets, one from FRR and one from Kurita, today, we can only attack 1 planet from FRR and defend a **** ton of planets that are not been attacked....

okay its very easy to get a CW match withing 5 minutes here is what you do

first go to this thread
http://mwomercs.com/.../page__st__1660

then go to last page
find the last person to post who is in your faction and see what planet they are attacking/defending
queue for that planet
post that you have queue'ed for that planet
have match in a few minutes!

option b is to
check for planets that are almost captured
queue for that planet
have match in a few minutes!

this has been working for me and since ive done this i have not waited more than 5 minutes for a match

just used this method and i have a match counting down to start after less then 45 seconds of waiting

Asking for game time doesn't really offer up any ideas. I'm just trying to help you clarify what you're asking for because then maybe someone can help give you tips on how to find a match.

Just ranting about attack limitations doesn't help much. Are dropping solo, small group, 12man? Are you picking up pop ups when they come up? Are you out of range of other planets? Seems kind of odd to me that you only have 2 attack options at all. So I was asking what you were suggesting.

Maybe they should do it like this, there are 11 notches for each planet, every notch is a 2 hour round or first to 22 wins.

Everybody faction related to the fight gets to wail on each other during those 2 hours and the side with the most wins gets the notch.

the first 3 notches are the "disable the cannon" type maps, the next 7 notches are the regular match making maps, but with the dropship respawn mechanic, last notch would be a assault the capitol or base type map.

That's an entirely different ball of wax. You're talking about adding new modes, objectives, laddered progression of planetary assaults, etc.

I was clear there Sandpit, PGI limited CGB attack to one planet only, even when we open a corridor to attack Kurita and FRR at the same time, we have 3 12 man just in MercStar trying to get a game, is stupid to limit our attack capabilities....

On the defense side, we have 5 planets to defend, and NONE of them are getting attacked.

Yes, MS is right now with 3 premades, 12 man. And we cant get matches....coz theres only one planet to attack which is already at 11 wins, and the other planets to defend area all at 0.

ahhh so it was the contract then? Are you sure it's not a matter of you're just not finding matches on other planets that are available or are they completely "out of range" in that you aren't given an attack option?

no attack option, the only one we can attack is New Bergen against FRR, the other option is Ferris or something like that from CW, and we don't want to attack that one.....

It sounds like each unit, regardless of the number Binary/Trinary a Clan/Company an IS unit has, it can only have 1 different faction attack planet then until it actually changes ownership, and there may be more to it than that though...

Remember, this is the first run and supposedly the next update will show more information per planet.

On the other hand, unless/until other tweaks are made such as showing numbers to keep people in that planet queue, and maybe even afterwards, change how your unit approaches an objective. Regardless of the goal, if the game is over in 3 minutes on blitzes your opponents, particular PUG opponents, will look for different/better drops on other planets, particularly when the opposing team is for the most part a PUG group. PUG can delay your unit drops by simply not showing up if they have had their face planted into the mud a few times.

Another way of putting it, change tactics to allow the community overall time to better itself, build its confidence in actual teamwork and abilities, as the normal pug queue certainly does not count. And I will say later Sunday I was seeing less and less blitzes/over in 3minutes and more prolong fights, as well as the pug groups communicating more via Team Chat (ooc - WHICH STILL SUCKS HAIRY blank blank :) )

Same for CJF. We can attack 1 in steiner, and one in CW. None are attacking us, think only pugs are attacking CW, and we had the steiner planet on lock.

Our group got 3 drops in 6 hours, one of which was empty base win. So we said the hell with it and went to pug que.

Been good fights in the pub group Q, actually see lota big groups back there played vs a 10 man GB crew few times last night and several other teams dropping 6+ members, good fun..
