I never tested this, but would it be viable to have a little fast group rush to the cannon, NARC it and then let LRMs destroy omega from a save-ish distance and/or out of LoS?

I was able to suicide-dive to the cannon though heavy defence and get a (single) shot off with very little backup. If it had been a NARC missle, that shot could be worth a lot.

i dont think narc works on omega. not sure though. i do know a spotter up close will let you hit it from range though one this way at one point.

Dead fire missiles definitely damage objectives and if you get good position and a little bit of time you can take it out rather quickly.

Maybe a unit could test this in a ghost drop? For now LRMs are not too useful in CW as attacker, I would love to find a viable niche for them.

Don't all the objectives have an ECM effect?

If that's the case, it might take a couple of NARCs, but it'd be worth a try.....especially if the NARC goes on the backside and all the LRMs are coming from the front.

You gotta counter its ECM, then you can lock it, AND narc it.

Can you counter Omega's ECM? I've tried and it didn't seem to do anything, but I haven't tested it exhaustively or anything.
