Sometimes you just have to appreciate your opponents... (Mind you, I am playing Clan but can appreciate watching the enemy win if we get outplayed)

Watching IS win (Attack)...

-Utilizing a coordinated Atlas drop, a group of what looked like twelve (12) Atlases rush through Gamma and just dominate the Clan landing pad...(Sulfurious Rift)

-Utilizing a Firestarter/Spider (2x ECM Spiders) Lance to sneak into the Omega Generator and dominate it. (Boreal Vault)

Watching IS win (Defend)...

-Utilizing a lance of Catapults to dominate as Clanners tried to get back into the fight and move towards the final objective. There were groups of Lights tagging and Narcing anyone who passed a gate... Insanely smart and great to die to. (Boreal Vault) ... Sad, I had my Kif Fox running his ECM and still got smoked...

-Utilizing tall mechs to effectively block most of the Omega Generator so all attacks would have to eliminate the Assaults to take win it...(which it seemed like they had an never ending supply of AS7-S) (Sulfurious Rift).. I must admit it was pug drop so the fact that the Clanners turning the corner were all trying for the Generator and getting owned by SRMs what funny to see...

Thanks for the post! Its interesting to hear some of the unorthodox strategies some of the more organized teams are cooking up. See you on the battlefield!

Worst butt-kicking we had was from -MS- they just waltzed in and focused fire with laser builds very very well. No rushing, just took their time and killed us.

Its the crazy s%#t that often works....but often only a few times until some one learns to counter it. Unless its well thought out and planned pilot skill also comes in handy.

As a Unit we have a few strategies that we use depending on how the team reacts, if they are slow we do one thing. Fast movers and pushing we do another. They are similar but different and are all about aggression because the best defense is a good offense.

Yeah, we encountered the -MS- focus fire last night. Charlie lance was down to our last mech before we knew what hit us.
