like the dual heavy gauss canons firing in the orbit.. can there be some battleships in the orbit that can bee seen fainlty??
or how about every now and then space fighters passing over..shooting each other...
things which make the environment feel more like an invasion...
dropships (the oval ones) landing beyond the mountains.. these kind of things can make get the feeling a bit more immersive that its an actual invasion/ war going on
thoughts? or suggesstions

Wouldn't mind seeing aerospace stuff doing flyovers, though!

In the Battletech universe up until the 3050s, Jumpships are rare and difficult to maintain. It is to the point that destroying a Jumpship is considered a war crime. destroying one could have you branded a rogue state and Comstar would shut down your communications network, and ever successor state would be encouraged to divide and conquer you.
Warships are even rarer still. They are used as shows of force, and rarely fire or are fired upon. Again, Orbital Bombardment is another war crime on par with using atomics, due to the devastation suffered by Inner Sphere industry during the succession wars that nearly drove the Inner Sphere back into the middle ages.
Warships in Orbit? No, it's not Warhammer 40000. The Leopard class dropships we've been seeing in this game are pretty small compared to the sizes a dropship can get to be, though. Leopards carry 4 mechs, true. Unions Carry 12, and Overlords carry 36.
An Aerospace fighter battle in the high atmosphere would be perfectly well suited to the missions, and shouldn't chew up too much processing power if it's just a looping animation with ultra-low poly models.

Agreed, extras will demolish framerates.
Needs to run much smoother. Would love to see aerospace fighters buzzing the battle, the destructible objects in the environment burning more immersion in the battle.
Make it war torn.
My Alienware lappy ain't all that anymore but still shouldn't be getting 12fps on Low at times when i can run War Thunder on High at 80fps.

clanners didn't cared to shoot down the dropships, because they can still build them in proper numbers.
U shocked now IS?
