I'm pretty sure this will have been bought up but...
So far OMC has captured two planets. Map movement had equaled zero. With the updates as they are even if we in the Southern Hemisphere or Oceanic Time Zone take a planet by the time the sever is told to notice someone had already taken it back in the hours that pass. As i understand it it's about 4PM in the afternoon and 4AM it checks itself.
At 4PM most of us are still on the way home, after about midnight we start to go to sleep. It seems this time has been chosen to be the most annoying or useless time that could be arranged. Can we do some something??
Seeing all you efforts utterly wasted in our time zone on offense has already got old. Could someone server side get the map to interrogate itself say every three hours and check capture conditions so if we do manage to do anything it makes an ounce of difference?

Russ Bullock addressed this in the Town Hall meeting. He said they're looking at different solutions.
They may create shorter attack phases, like 12 hours or 8 hours. They may also increase the duration of the attack phase to something like 30 hours, which means the advantage gradually moves from one time zone to another during the course of weeks and months.
