With respect to Battletech lore we do not majorly favor any faction (or are rather highly divided in this decision) though an IS unit whether House affiliated or mercenary is preferred to the Clans.

would probably be the place to post. Let me be clear, I dont have any issue with your post here at all.

The main problem with posting in this forum, that is if people dont continue to post in it, it will roll away and be hard to find for people looking for this sort of thing and I think that "bumps" are sort of against the rules altho rarely enforced.

Good Luck to you. Hope you find a good unit. My unit is US based and plays mostly during US Eastern Prime time (6 to 7 hours behind you) altho we do have some Euros on board (Irish English) and some great Aussie players.

By the way I know your Team name was done on purpose (STD) and I find it very funny, gotten many laffs already from it. I think it would have been hilarious if your Pilot names were each a different STD (altho the name filters may have zapped you, lol) Anyway, Good luck dude.

To any other units out there looking to form a partnership the Lancers are looking for willing units. We are currently fighting for the FRR but that might change come next week when our contract runs out.

Outside of CW we run a comp team that is currently taking part in Marik Civil War Season Four and will be also taking part in MRBC Season 4 in the New Year. We have around 45 active members and are running people for CW every night. We reside on the MercStar Teamspeak just below -MS-.

Hio Risen, If you and your group are still looking at other merc units to merge with, you may want to talk to PewPewZapZap here in the Comstar Irregulars. We have EU players, a strong comp scene, and a competitive casual attitude it seems y'all would find comfortable.

You can find us, and Pewpew, over on the Comstar NA teamspeak server. If Pewpewzapzap is not on, Ihasa or Joe Psycho are also CI folk you might want to talk to.

I second Dracol's sentiments. We have something going on that can't be made public yet but your name came up this weekend as potentials to include in the plans. It's very much along the lines of what your looking for and would offer you both access to a larger player base partnership and keep your own unit's identity if you so choose. If you can't find PewPew, Joe, or myself, also look for Noonan. He's on often during your peak hours and can speak for CI in this matter. Really exciting stuff coming up!

Just to let everyone know, the members of the Steel Tiger Dragoons (affectionately known as STD), have decided to merge with U.M.A.D.

While we all loved our tag, we decided that better games was worth much more than a funny punch line. I am sad to see STD disappear but I am happy that we have found a home that suits our abilities and more importantly continues to give us the camaraderie we had built in STD.

Be afraid, U.M.A.D is now infectious...
