Wow I am so sad. I didn't know there was an event until just now and i missed out on 50 "reach into the stocking" can you put something in game to let us know that there are events going on? I asked a few times while I was playing but nobody said anything was going on. And, i missed the window to collect on items.

It was a highly prized gift given to GOOD children!

There is. On launcher/patcher screen, there are announcements displayed. The first one of which was a "candy cane" colored Stormcrow announcing the "Stocking Stuffer Event". Take a look at that screen before you log in. Lots of things are mentioned there that is relevant for the game, besides sales.

Loved the event, only one criticism. I logged in at 5:55 PM, EST, to redeem my last two stocking items, to have it tell me there was some error, and then the event expired. Just got home from work. :-(

That naughty part should apply to every game! Like a weakened salvage mechanic. 20% chance per game to get a random item. No MC cosmetic stuff, just normal equipment like MLas+ ACs etc. (problably even engines as rare jackpot items^^)...

Nice event! I liked being able to view match scores without having to dig through screenshots or making a spreadsheet to figure out the average, which I would probably never do (hint *stats page* hint & much more useful than KDR).

I don't log out of the game too often because i play at all hours throughout the day. I even went to this website under my profile and checked challenges and didn't see anything piling up. Maybe challenges and tournaments should be in the same spot?

They did a patch when they announced the tournament if memory serves me correctly.
Patch notes were posted on December 19 at 8:20 PM (Eastern time).
Date of the Tournament post was December 19 at 12:30 PM (once more Eastern time).

This leads me to believe that (and my memory wants to agree here) the event was on the patcher window during the patching event. So you should have seen it*. With the older UI it would have appeared on the home tab of your interface. With UI2.0, that got changed. (Maybe someone should suggest that it be reinstated possibly?)

*I can still understand missing the announcement. I have the Announcement and Command Chair subforums being watched personally, so when a new thread gets posted there I become aware of it when I next log onto the forums.
