I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if people buy in game stuff with real money? Are you asking if it's worthwhile to purchase things with real money? Are you asking if you purchase in game stuff through the website?

You can't buy most of the in game items on the website. The website handles the MC transactions, and only packages that are preorder, or current distribution like the clan mech packages.

For instance, you can't buy the Dash items a-la-carte on the website, you can buy MC on the site and then purchase those in-game with that MC.

It's a bit of a two part thing the way they sell items.

First, you have to buy MC, which can only be purchased on the website.

Then you have to load up the game and go to the "STORE" tab up top and select the item you want and pay MC for it.

Supposedly, the plan is to some day allow purchases of MC in game so you don't have to go through the website, but we'll see.

Will get better responses as a rule if you don't treat this like Twitter or grade school....

IE spell words, use capitals, that sort of thing.

if someone has purchased a package (a preorder or pack of Mechs from the website) they will usualy have a forum title, e.g. my titles say I purchased the Founders pack and a Clan pack. you can chose to or not to display the titles and can only display a maximum of 2 titles (Founder if you have it + one other pack title) but most of your responders have indeed purchased Mech packs through the website.

Also you can play the game without paying anything and still be competitive, paying real money just means you get stuff quicker, however a lot of visual customization of Mechs (e.g. fancy camo pattens + most colours and most cockpit items) is only available if you pay real money, Mechbays (to allow you to own more Mechs, you start with 4 bays) are the only thing you will need which is hard to obtain without paying real money however most months there is a challenge where you can win them
