The following list is of my favorite Inner Sphere Mech's in the tabletop game from the following technical readouts, and I would love to see a few of them in MWO;

· 2750 - THG-11E Thug

· 3025 - BNC-3S Banshee

· 3050 - WVR-7M Wolverine

· 3055 - TMP-3M Tempest

· 3058 – DVS-2 Devastator

· 3060 – HEL-3D Helios

I would love to hear what yours are…

CptBob.

Unfortunately you won't see this mech ever, since it was scrapped before it got out of the prototype stage. The only thing you can hope for is the successor to this mech, the Omega, but that doesn't come until The Jihad.

How about a 55 tonne jump capable mech. The original work horse mechs were the trio of Shadowhawk, Wolverine, and Griffin. 5/8 moderately fast, reasonably armoured, a good mix of long and short range weapons. These were the backbone of most armies for centuries. Toss in the Phoenix Hawk (a faster jump capable 45 tonner) and you've got one third of the original mechs. Right now we simply don't have anything comparable in our line up.

The Dragon, the Trebuchet, the Centurion are all good solid mechs in a similar weight category, but we don't have any jump capable medium mechs -that's simply not right.

Rifleman, hollander and jackal
all nice bots, with their own unique roles to play.

actuly, the wolfs, dragoons fielded this a few times, and (i cant find the article im thinking of ATM) jade falcon (check my picture) also used it on a regular basis.
on a side note, i would also like to see the Crusader

As far as the Unseen go, definitely Marauder and Crusader. These aside, one word:

ZUES!

CSJ also made some use of it during the invasion - the Stone Rhino that is. It is a littke confusing as the Omega is a WoB unit based off the same prototype.

Anyway, back to the question, Wolfhound, Griffin, Thunderbolt and Thug.

I like most of the the OP's choices except for the 3025 Banshee. That thing was not good.

Agreed. I would have much rather seen a 5/8 jumping Medium than the Hunchback as an early option.

the zuse would be too clumsy in the tight maps that we have seen so far.

yes I agree Turigand, the game needs a huge stockpile of the heavier medium's, wonder if the Devs have considered 4 legged Mech's like the Scorpion etc

Pre clan invasion?

Definitely the Marauder or the Warhammer. Just use the reseen versions!

Also I can't believe the Orion isn't in yet. How can you not include that mech?

Beyond TRO 3050: They should I introduce every Clan mech from from that TRO. Classics all.
