Ever since they fixed hit reg for lasers guess what mech dies almost just like any medium now? The Stormcrow, and to a lesser degree, the Timber.

Turns out the Stormcrow/Timber hitboxes are good, but that was half the reason they were so tanky. Once the hitreg fix happened I noticed a huge improvement with my laser builds that they can target and remove torso's/CT from these mechs alot better now, instead of damage not registering. Thanks for finally fixing your game after the 2 years or w/e it was. Now all the " Stormcrow and Timberwolf are OP " threads can die in a fire, because they die much easier now.

So nothing has changed balance wise, except lasers are better... but they were already the best so...

What Braxton said. Crows and Timbies are still too good for their tonnage. My laser vomit Timbie is legging those IS Lights left and right.

Try using sensible font, then people might take what you have to say seriously, PGi or for that matter don't pay anymore attention to big that use over sized font, usually the opposite

Well, just today I've put myself in my old nova, that was nerfed to the ground.
And I've managed to have fun! It's not so hot anymore, thanks to quirks, lasers hit (cored a gargoyle in 2 alphas, and were running both) and I've managed to leg those lights!

The Stormcrow still sucks up damage. The arms are easier to take off, but the STs and CT are still in some weird blob.

I agree the CT and ST on Stormcrows are still broken. The laser fix does work nicely on thier legs though.

Quick question shouldn't the timberwolf be a feared mech ? You cant really have a balanced and feared mech in my opinion. One of the reasons it stands out so much for the clans is its one of the few that has FF armor and Endo steel at 75 tons its the heaviest that has both. I just started playing timbers I have had them since the clan pack I cant say they are op. I also don't run cheese build either.

Because then you might get a situation where people flock to a certain flavor of the month and totally avoid piloting any other chassis.

For the current situation, turbobuffed Thunderbolts (9S and 5SS at least) and the fairly high spacebucks cost of the TBR probably are the main factors holding back the Timber from attaining that status.

The reason the Doomcrow is so powerful is because it can bring as much firepower as a heavy, yet go 107kph. It still has good hitboxes.

It's still the best medium in the game. Next topic...

I am sorry that my slightly larger text font offends you, and that you think its not " sensible ".

I am also sorry that you have chosen not to comment on the topic of this thread, or add anything relevant to the discussion. In the future, you may want to consider not trolling a thread on the forums, you may find eventually no one will take what you have to say seriously, including PGI.

Yeah, Doomcrow is a good one lol. It feels very comfortable to drive. Ive got 4ML 1 LL on mine and its pretty fun and smooth flowing. It seems to take a pretty good pounding.
