Needs to be eliminated

There's no reason to take an unreliable weapon over the regular C-AC when both are burst fire

One can function as an AC/40, one cannot. If there were no jamming whatsoever, why on earth would anybody even think twice about taking an LBX or AC over a UAC?

Balance, man, think of the balance.

If you can't stand it, use the alternatives or stop building UAC boats.

until it jams....after every other shot...

and add to that the time spent while jammed doesn't effect the cooldown....to if you jam on the first shot of the burst, you have to wait the time to un-jam + the time for the cooldown....all while IS ACs are punching holes in everything....

there is no reason to take a regular clan AC.

the LBX is better than the regular clan AC.

While I sympathize with that frustration, it's not unique to clan UACs, and it's entirely random. That's the price you pay for being able to pump out twice the damage per each weapon.

Clan ACs and LBXs don't jam, so they're equally viable as IS ACs, if you ignore that the damage is spread amongst several shells.

About that:

Yeah, well...there isn't much difference, practically speaking, both function as mech-sized shotguns really. I'm with you in preferring the LBX over the multi-shot AC.

Either way, those two don't jam!

Good news! Since you're clan you can just bring 5 of them. Oh you already do? Shaddap you!

the point is if the regular clan AC and LBX are going to remain seperate weapons they need to somehow incentivize the regular clan AC so theres a reason to use it over the clan UAC

For now I think that clan LBX and AC ought to weight the same as UACs...why the UAC would weigh less under current circumstances is a little weird.

If they merge the weapons back together, that extra weight would make sense though.

Being able to jam is fine. My pet peeve is just that the jam is randomly generated rather than being a progressive "jam bar" of sorts that let you specifically gauge how much you could keep pushing the weapon.
