If that's what you have to tell yourself that's cool.

I've been dropping almost exclusively marik border the last 24-48 hours. Since the tournament started I've had 35 drops and 4 turret stomps - one was on the FRR border. I can say exactly because the tournament stats. So, three ghost drops in Mariks space over ~30 drops.

Whatever you need to say to help you sleep at night though. What you should be saying is 'Boy, I hope the Clans chew through Kurita space and seriously threaten the Federated Suns before they finish mopping us up' or even 'Huh, I wonder who will take my homeworld - Steiner or Davion? Odds are 50/50".

BS - wazan was 63 percent 11 hours ago and I didn't see your pretty li'l mug there...

btw, you do know that wazan is originally fedcom space right? You aren't winning you are barely holding on... because timezones...

Barely holding? We're winning ground as in pushing you guys back again and again and again. How many days have you been stacking your dead there? That's what I'm saying - you keep coming to Wazan, we keep killing you.

A drop takes 25 minutes, plus ~10 to fill. I've dropping all day for days. If you're not there, well, where are you? I've seen most your orgs though. Unless it's defending on Sulfur (which, I'll grant anyone, is almost impossible to do successfully) I've been leading pugs to wins on Wazan and Kyrkbacken all day. Save for one drop on the FRR border and one ride shotgun watching the 228th walk some Jade Falcons off to a bad day as school.

You're the ones dying on Wazan, leaving your worlds open for other Davion units to roll into. Stay home, protect your families and make sure you've got some nice red and gold to wear when we change your flag.

I've gotten so bored of attacking Marik turrets during aussie prime time thatI've resorted to defending other faction planets from clan advances. Also group/ solo queue is more preferable. Please. Stop being all defensive on your forums and login to the game to defend your planets.

Marik, Liao and Kurita have their own share of pilots trolling the Davion boards.

So either youre suggesting it's ok for your pilots, but not for Davion pilots; or you're saying that that you cannot be expected to control the actions of individual pilots and they do not represent your whole community, but Davion can and they do.

Either one is a fairly asinine position to take. The offer made in this thread was made in good faith.
Makes me wonder how clean your hands are if you automatically assume treachery of others.

The Seraphim cannot speak for other units, but if ANY seraphim is trolling your forums, screenshot ot link it and send a private message to any captain, lieutenant, force commander or our colonel, alex Reed. We will deal with it as appropriate.

Ceasefires are based on trust, as it has been exhibited in the Marik-Liao ceasefire agreement.

Trolling does not endear oneself to others nor does it build trust.

We are playing a war game, that much is understood. But, to slightly polish what Roadbeer has said, when you constantly go to the threads owned by opposing forces to crow and taunt, who WOULD trust you? Who would WANT to trust you?

As the leader of a predominantly Christian unit who has endured the repeated childish trolls of our fatih by the Davions (Popcorn Jesus? Really?), why would we expect you to respect and offer a true accord on Christmas ... honoring One whom you do not acknowledge and openly lampoon? It amounts to the largest and most perverted of trolling attempts.

I just trying to help you see it for what it is.

From a hospital room in Little Rock with very little hope of being home for Christmas, I wish you all well.

Alex...

Sorry to hear about you being stuck in a hospital room... whether it's for yourself or for a family member, I wish you all the best.

I love to poke and jab at people in the game (and a little bit in the forums) but that's where it ends. I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield again, in one piece, so I can poke and jab some more.

It's the same on all faction forums, and literally everyone is doing it, so don't act all high and mighty because your own guys are doing the exact same thing. Take a look at the Davion forums if you don't believe me, there's quite a few Marik players trolling there.

Again. If it is a Seraphim doing this REPORT THEM TO OUR LEADERSHIP and they will be dealt with accordingly. Each unit polices their own. Do not assume or make false accusations, show proof and action will be done.

Is calling people out for dodging fights against my unit considered trolling? Because there's a lot of that going around.

I can attest to the fact that Seraphim Pilots are not doing that so watch yourself being a little loose with the facts. Your very name implies you may have more than a little spite towards this unit. The Leader of the Seraphim is a personal friend of mine and I know several pilots in his unit. They are good people that just happen to be employed by House Marik. My unit will uphold the Cease fire if ordered by House Davion High Command or attack if ordered to do so but guys it is just a game lets not turn this personal for the sake of the season.

Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Aslong as the neer-do-well types keep their greedy paws off planets, we will keep our Democracy and Freedom to ourselves.

I'm perfectly fine with a ceasefire for the Holidays.

Best wishes to y'all and yer'kin! :D

From what I have seen of the responses so far it looks like the following responses to the proposed truce;

- Liao yes probably (except WoL)
- Steiner mostly following
- Kurita, probably not
- FRR, doubtful
- Marik, 50/50 could go either way
- Jade Falcon absolutely not
- Clan Wolf no chance
- Clan Ghost Bear, we will do as we please
- Clan Smoke Jaguar, probably not

In light of this, I personally am prepared to limit myself to defensive operations only.

Also because this is a Davion instigated thread can I just say so far of the groups I have dropped against in game all of you displayed courage and respect for your opponents. o7 to the HHOD, RRB and Aces Wild in particular.

What does my name have to do with it? I was referring to the accusations leveled against all Davion players, I merely pointed out that there are plenty of trolls in all factions, including his own. I don't particularly care what unit he's with, and I most certainly wasn't accusing his unit of anything.

I don't get it. Holiday cease-fires are for real wars. This is entertainment. Should we agree to a movie-watching boycott too?

I'll speak only for myself, but I'm sure there's others like me, the holiday period is one of the few times where I'll have plenty of time to be ABLE to do lots of CW. I plan to do it until I'm sick of it. I'll do it anyway, but I'd hate for organized unit drops to be suspended.

For me, I will be more of sucked into being with family. As how it is. Will do Defenses still to keep the Puggers off. But if I see any formed groups attacking, I'm snapshotting and spreading it everywhere. As I suggest any other unit does if they see drops on either side. (If this is agreed upon to be an actual ceasefire that is.)

A couple of Clan factions have already dismissed it out of hand, so you're sure to get some action against them while the IS is at rest. If you can get 12-mans together, it's the perfect opportunity to show those Clanners the kind of punishment they've been dodging by rolling pugstomp after pugstomp.
