Why would they think that we'd want to spend 15 minutes looking around different planets to find one match?

Why, given the immense failure of adding premades to the pug queue, would they do the same with CW?

CW????

Because Russ believes everyone wants to play Battletech the way how he wants them to play. It is a never ending cycle of belly button contemplating that has followed MWO.

What he needs to look at his data and only make decisions on well thought out statistical analysis. Will it increase MC purchases by putting in pre-mades vs pugs?

-What did the MC sales look like when they allowed pre-mades vs pugs and then what did the MC sales look like after they removed it?
-Did the number of unique players per week increase or decrease when they allowed pre-mades vs pugs and then after
-Did the number of hours played per week increase or decrease when they allowed pre-mades vs pugs and then after

Because frankly, they made the decision to pull Pre-Mades vs Pugs a while ago and they should have data for it. Creating a game mode that EVERYONE has asked for (CW) and then to put in Pre-Mades vs Pugs which the vast majority of the player base DOES NOT WANT into CW is a "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job." type of scenario. So Russ if you can't read between the lines, I'm calling your decision making ability to put Pugs vs Pre-Mades for CW as bad as US Presidents George W Bush's decision to put a horse judge in charge of FEMA (a disaster relief agency) when Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans. Yes, I'm calling you out on your business decision making abilities and I do not believe you pay attention to basic gameplay data that you should have available to you on a daily basis.

This game is cooked. With CW sucking and anyone with a team brain moving to organized 12 mans there and with the christmas event totally ruining normal gameplay due to hiders and bads who just leach I'm done.

I'm ganna go check out the new wow xpac. Please ban me. Uninstalled.

1 MAJOR reason for pugs in the CW. Not full 12 man groups always available. You NEED pugs or small groups to fill in otherwise it will perpetually be waiting for everyone, large groups included.

With the patch, showing what planets have alot of dropping players, you can solo and still fill in matches if you so desire. I personally find it a good way to meet new people who have similar objectives.

We've had plenty of 9-10 man groups run and get pug wolf players who've joined us. Its not all 12 mans out there and we've made some friends with the pugs we've had.

Its just you and a few other people QQing. A lot of us like the combined group system they implemented for CW.

We dont' ahve enough whiny threads as it is

Couldn't you at least have confined your QQ to the already existing threads? It gets hard handing out kleenex all over the forum

I too wish muh gersh dern queue times were shorter.
But hey, I'd assume 12 mans have the most whales.
Nothing we can really do about it then.

The game has been evolving to the point of 12 man groups splitting up and mixing in with other players/groups to promote more drops.

If anything, gameplay has been evolving in a significant way since CW has launched because it's being forced to adapt.

Now what the hell are you ******* talking about? CW in beta, ok. But what does the current challenge have to do with regular derping ingame? I mean, 30 points? 80 in CW? That's like saying: "I'll erase you from the naughty list if you don't **** up like a complete imbecile who is blind and has only 1 to 2 barely functional limbs. And I'll drown you in gifts just for playing! Unless you're 145% incompetent of course!".

Does anyone notice any 'bad' behaviour right now? Perhaps I have missed something, but there is no cheesy formula attached to the running challenge, and the requirements are so low that Paris Hilton would have no problem meeting them, so it's just play for fun/kills/team/whateverfloatsyourboat currently and you'll get your stuff.

Took about 3 seconds to get it, but you mean to say that that the only naughty list candidates are the ones complaining about imaginary naughty list candidates!? Seems reasonable for me, let' em get some massive coal drops!!!!

Dude, we're lucky we can participate in Community Warfare as solo puggers at ALL.

Most other games I've played, there's not even a question - you HAVE to be in a unit to take part in any kind of "clan-warfare" type of gameplay.

The qeue times have improved, the information is alot better for finding games now, and besides, your argument about pugs vs premades is by and large invalid.

The vast majority of the time, "premades" in pug matches will face other "premades", all of various sizes and makeup. Very rarely will solo puggers be thrown in against those teams.

What makes you think that is true? Last I checked there are a lot more solo/puggers.

Wait... you're complaining about being able to drop in as solo at all?

In Community Warfare? Just what did you expect to find in something called Community warfare?
NPCs and gumdrops?

Hell I wanted and still want the ability to select which que I'm queing for when I solo play. I don't want to be in the solo ques at all. I wanna be in team ques, even when I don't quite feel up to logging onto TS or call some people up on skype if I don't feel like it.

I don't mind the solo pilot who decides to pug in Community Warfare.
AS LONG AS he belongs in a unit.
There are still some pugs who shoot at the Omega Gun itself and not at the mini generators first...If they (the puggers) are not willing to learn to play...they shouldn't be allowed to play in the sandbox at all.

So again, NO TO PUGS in CW. (unless they're in a unit)
