I've played MWO for a few hundred hours, starting a few years ago, and starting again a few months ago.

I have had a lot of comments, but until now, had not spent a dime.

Last week I spent 15 bucks, and I'm prolly gonna drop another 30 or 50 bucks this week.

So now that I am officially a paying customer, HERE IS WHAT I WANT! lol


I REALLY wish the game had a chat room... or a global chat, .... or any chat.

In other online games, I have always used the in game chat to make friends, and find teams to play with.

In MWO, I'm pretty lonely.

VOIP is in the works atm, not sure if they're any further forward on chat lobbies yet. We could really use them i agree

you are aware that there's an option to enable ingame chat? because many people can't see the global chat (in a match) anymore because they forget to check that option.

Global faction chat is set to be implemented with VOIP next patch.

Yes yes, I see the in game chat.

Both "Team" and "ALL" chat, but who wants to sit and text, WHILE BULLETS ARE FLYING?!


I'm asking for a simple "out of game" lobby.


Most of my online gaming was in WOW. (although I've tried,and enjoyed, about 8 MMOs now)


In WOW trade chat was epic.

Either I would find friends by being cool, or I would just be a rude idiot, and end up PVPing with some other rude idiot.


It's an ice breaker, and online some people need that.

No, you don't have to spend anything on this game. Anyone can play this game for tens of thousands of hours without spending a cent to support it, if they want. Just like it's perfectly legal to visit your local supermarket every day to eat all the free samples without buying anything. Nothing wrong with that. Fill your boots, mate.

There's supposed to be an LFG function coming soon, I'd assume that comes with a chat lobby.
