The system probably should not start games that, if they go the full time limit, will go past the cease fire time. While it could still hurt some defenders or attackers at least groups will know they have until 30 min before reset to get in a game. At least that way players will not get a false sense of hope.

The Game FROZE!!! The cease fire is to let those games formed prior to cease fire finish.

I thought that was the purpose of the duration of the cease fire, to allow games in progress to finish.

Well, if that is the case, then there is a serious bug in the code to generate that kind of error.

I think the ceasefire is built with that in mind. Games last 30 minutes. And ceasefire begins like 45minutes before the new cycle.

Did wolf get disconnected during game?

I was not disconnected... i could move around the map... everyone was running in place (like when a de-synch happens)..
took me nearly 10 seconds to notice we were screwed by pgi (lol).
i was thinking... hey why all of you stopped firing at the generator...lol
my mechs were in game when i got out though.!

It wasn't just wolf, anyone mid-game during teh cease fire gets discoed.

My major gripe on that is that it still locks those mechs that were in the game so you can't use them.

Thats never happend before.. Ceasefire is made that long so that the games that start even a second before the ceasefire has a chance to finish. There must have been some kind of server issue.

I got booted out of my public queue game during that time as well.

MS had a team get booted during the ceasefire as well, but another team was able to play out it's match.

The clock did something very funny right before ceasefire, most may not have even noticed, I noticed more out of pure luck.

I was in a match, I asked someone not in match or lobby to see how much time was left they said 39 minutes, the match went another 15 minutes, should have said about 24 minutes when I got out, but it said an hour and some minutes, I thought i had really lost track of time and my buddy had mis read it. I waited in next queue for about 18 minutes or so, wanted to check worlds and switch, when I went out I saw cease fire was in effect, it had been on for a few minutes.

I think the clock "hiccuped", started matches it thought it had time for, was 'reset' correctly and that caused some matches to go past the ceasefire end time limit.

Those matches you complain about by rights should never have started, so how they were going is a moot point.
