After speaking with several different people from around the world, we have thought of a way to make the community warfare more fair or at least give everyone a chance to contribute to their faction. It seems that all the planet turn overs happen about two hours before the cease fire. This is not going to work for all timezones as the only real combat that matters is the last few hours. Even multinational co-operation is not going to help this problem.

Having the conditions to win a planet more by over all time held at a certain percentage rather than just points seems to be more fair. This would allow for more people to contribute to the taking of a planet. The best way to describe what we have come up with is to decide a planet's faction by duration rather than just tick marks alone. The last minute rush to claim planets is leaving people out of the fight thus making them lose interest in community warfare altogether.

We understand that this is just beta and that somethings are still being worked out. The taking of %75 of a planet for 4 hours makes more sense than 23 1/2 hours in which only the last 2 hours count for anything. Several factors are taken in to account in the four hour combat duration. This will spread the peak combat out over six times a day rather that just one time per day for two hours. Also this will allow for a more coordinated effort by people on similar time schedules. More over the planet can then be awarded to the faction with 2/3s of over all ownership of the plant at the end of the given day.

Thank you for the Edit Rouken

Oof that's a wall, some line breaks wouldn't go amiss. - Nicely done, much easier to read :)

I do agree, it would make more sense to take the battle for the planet as a whole rather than just where it sits at the end.

Add in something similar to another suggestion I saw about something to do with 12 wins automatically flips the planet, or provides some form of bonus (i.e. 1 piece of semi-permanently held territory on the planet until the ceasefire)

I think theres certainly something to be done to make everything matter more.

Yeah, there have been a few suggestions. Rotating the cease fire by making it over or under 24 hours to the next one is probably what we will see but I think that still has the same problem, but it does give other places the chance to have those crucial final matches.
