Is it right that your LP with faction A go down if you attack it while under contract of faction B?

If I, as a merc oontracted with Steiner, attack Marik space on Steiner's behalf, I will receive negative LP with Marik.

What do you have to pay for breaking a "forever" contract?

You get negative LP when you kill mechs of another faction. It's listed on the end of round screen. At present it doesn't look like you can see your LP standing with all factions at a glance.

ah, thank you. It seems you only get -10LP per killed mech. That is not that much, means you can change whenever you want without losing much. You make easily 10times of this points per match (if you win).

remember you LP for any faction cannot go below 0 so unless you have built up points with a faction you are now fighting there should be no problem.
