What I would like to see is an after match replay option. Something that would replay the whole match and let you observe the match from a "gods eye" perspective. This would be a tremendous learning tool for new players, and some older ones.

How many times have you had a mech shot out from under you with now idea where the fire came from?

A replay mode would answer that question and give you some idea what to look out for in the future.
