I don't remember my info but played that game till the servers shut down. This game could learn a lot from that design.

Loved Chromehounds... Had almost every part unlocked. Sadly, I lost all the MP parts when the servers shut down, so I lost a lot of customization options after that.

Really sad they shut the servers down, lots of people loved that game. (I still do) Pretty sure there's still people playing it too, even without MP.

Loved that game and miss it so! There is a Chrome Hounds 2.0 so to speak which is in early access on Steam right now. Keeping my eye on it. Its called M.A.V. Might be worth looking into.

Sadly I can't even remember the name of the squad I was with. I always remember we run for Morskoj almost all the time. My gamertag is confidential, as its tied to my XBox Live name.

I can't remember a game that implemented artillery better than this.

Sadly the developers went back to Armored Core where they also implemented community warfare concepts, then moved on to find even bigger success with Dark Souls.

I loved that game. I remember when it was relatively new and the tower of power builds were the go to builds. I rocked with quad canons. I can't really remember, but I made mine look like a legit mech - almost like a tankier, meaner looking Mad Dog. Two big ballistics left arm, two big ballistics right arm and that was it. Cockpit with an armor plate in front of it on a chin mount. It was pretty awesome.

I usually played 2v2 with my buddy in a command mech. We'd hide in the buildings, and he would squirrel the enemy past me, while I'd come up behind them and crush them at close range.

I really liked all the bizarre looking stuff you ended up seeing on the battlefield. Very creative build options. Most were nonsensical, but still fun.

my favorite chromehounds build was one where I figured out a way to use the joint pieces to get the cockpit down between my legs

I saw one Japanese who had a build that was so low, it was hugging the ground like a cockroach.

My build usually looks like an ostrich, two bird like raptor legs via Al Sakar, four cannons in the front like a beak, the cockpit way back in the rear like a tail, with a bit of hanging skirt armor front and sides protecting a central joint. Everything about it has a thin as possible a front profile.

I made a giant, armored turtle as one of my go-to builds. Its armor layout was such that you had to use a sniper rifle to plant rounds in the incredibly small gaps between armor plates... On top, it used a single artillery mega-cannon, with armor plates all over that too.

I chuckled at people who tried to punch holes in my 4-legged turtle of doom. And then I vaporized them.

Also - Morskoj for life, everybody else can suck it!
