Matches rarely last the allotted 15 minutes because of frequent rolls. Pugs with lack of communication tend to make mistakes that overturn matches against them. So to give them second, third ,etc. chances, why not allow a best of 3 or 5 game mode? Surely it would give more replay value to this game. Your thoughts?

I personally would not enjoy a best of three or five format as I would rather have different opponents each time.

A best of 3 or 5 game mode would be fun, and good for PUG teams I think as you get a couple of matches to work together. PGI would have to enable players to drop in/out though or your team might end up in match 5 with 3 disco players. In fact I'd like to see the older maps and game modes merged into this mode for CW.

Don't see the point, just drop in another match.

yea not really sure why that's needed.

Pub matches are meant to be quicker. Why not just drop in another match when you're done? You might save a LITTLE time in searching, but you're going to run into other issues like getting stuck in 3 matches in a row in a roflstomp which people will jsut disco from anyhow leaving the rest of the team screwed.

If you are on a team that gets completely rolled because of lack of skill/communication, do you really want to play with them in 2-4 more matches?

Nice idea, but if a pub team with no communications get rolled by a well coordinated team in one match, won't the same thing just happen again in the second of three?

So instead of one match they would play three or more? No thanks. There is no need to make the matches last atleast 3 times longer than they currently do.

I would love to face the same frustration I had in the previous match a second or a third time. I mean, nothing beats exploding veins in my neck, a headache and a dose of pain in the face from a /face desk.

If I was masochistic... and I am not.

You are taking this game way to seriously if you are experiencing those symptoms sir. You need a better hobby.

Yes. They are pugs, and it's understandable that because we are not communicating as a group, there will be mistakes. Hence why this game needs VoIP. Although I'm not one to talk to random players over the interwebs, but in a case like this where the game is highly dependent on team communication, I'll be willing to say a few words. After all, speaking that you're getting ambushed at a certain location is better than typing it.

However, if there ever is VoIP, there will be no excuse for getting rolled.

Dude, come on. Is that what I said or meant? How about I meant that VoIP allows for better communication, and better team effort. Win or lose depends on applying that teamwork correctly.

VOIP certainly does that. It DOES NOT, however, keep you from getting rolled. Sometimes a better team will just smoke you.

VOIP would not ensure that the entire PUG team will coordinate, either. You will always have players using team mates as nothing more than meat shields.

I would like a best of three formula if we had 1 vs 1 duels.
