HELLO FELLOW PLAYERS, AS MENTIONED BEFORE I'M A NEW PLAYED HERE AND GOT QUESTIONS.
WHEN BUILDING MY OUN MECH, CAN I MIX TECH'S? IE. INNER SPHERE + CLAN?
HOW IN DEPH CAN YOU GET INTO THE MECH BUILDING? ARE THERE LIGHT FUSION ENGINES THAT TAKE ONLY 2 CRITS INSTEAD OF 3 LIKE THE XL ENGINES?
CAN YOU CHOOSE THE SIZE OF COCKPIT?
HOW FAR CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE A MECH?
COULD YOU GUYS PLEASE HELP ME WITH THOSE QUICK QUESTIONS, I'M SURE I HAVE TONS OF MORE BUT I DON;T WANT TO WRITE A BOOK HERE.
THANKS.

can tinker there, with innersphere mechs you can change engines, weapons, armor and ammo, double heatsinks, endo, ferro and artemis. What weapons you can mount depends on the hardpoints, energy, missile or ballistics.

Use normal font please, this one hurts my brain.

1) You cannot mix tech
2) There are standard and XL engines for Inner Sphere mechs. Clan mechs have locked XL. Clan XL's die when both side torso's are destroyed, Inner Sphere XL's die when one side torso is destroyed.
3) The size of the cockpit? No.
4) You can upgrade to endo, ferro and double heatsinks on Inner Sphere mechs only. Endo and DHS are basically mandatory, ferro is useless on most non-light mechs. Clan mechs have some locked equipment, but can change out omnipods for different hardpoint setups. Inner Sphere mechs are only limited by their hardpoints.

Ok, how close does it gets to the books? Like MaxTech? For example, does it gets that into details. or it kinda rounds it more to fit the video graphics?
Wich I don't mind I just want to know how far I could experiment with mech building, that was part of the fun I had with Battletech and I heard that's part of the fun here.

Is that... Comic Sans? You should probably just use the standard font.

Flapdrol has already given you Smurfy's awesome reference site - that will give you everything you need, and since it pulls from the game files, you can always be sure that it's accurate.

In answer to your specific questions:

  • You cannot mix tech - this is because Clan tech is not canon, for game balance reasons (they didn't want to invalidate the Inner Sphere's entire 'Mech lineup.)

  • You can get very in-depth - you allocate your tonnage, upgrades, equipment, and armor just like the tabletop game. About the only thing you cannot do is select which individual hardpoint in a location a weapon goes (thus, if I have a PPC and two Medium Lasers in my Battlemaster's Left Torso, I cannot select the PPC to go into the highest hardpoint.) On most 'Mechs, this makes no difference whatsoever.

  • Light Fusion Engines, Double Cockpits, etc. are not currently added to the game, and may not be added (the double cockpit, for example, is for a separate commander/trainer to ride along in the 'Mech; not really useful here.) Most of the later weapon systems are planned for eventual deployment, but the game timeline right now is set at 3050 - the dawn of the Clan Invasion.

The Smurfy web-based Mech Lab shows exactly the amount of customization you can do. Check it out.

Beyond that, there are pilot skills you can get by spending the XP you earn while playing in matches.
