Absolutely none of those are acceptable combinations on the battlefield from a gameplay balance perspective, and they're all 250 tons.

And OP: no. Just no. 240 is the heaviest it should be. Other posters in the thread have already highlighted good reasons not to expand to 250.
I'm not complaining that they changed the 140 minimum so I can't run my 4 adder joke deck anymore. Because that tonnage also opens up balance problems.

Hell, I'll go the other direction....250+ is good for me. Where we're sitting makes me have to keep a sub-par mech on the drop list. It's either Warhawk/Kitfox/Summoner/Stormcrow or Warhawk/Kitfox/Timberwolf/Nova. I didn't get any of the fancy wave 2 stuff. I'll probably get the Mad Dog when it comes out for Cbills (hell, it might be for all I know). That'd solve problems.

Well, the normal Catapult looks a fairly cool blend of old Mechwarrior games with modern, angular and functional-looking sci fi design.
The Founder Catapult looks like the Olympian Gods tried to capture a transcendent beauty mortals were not meant to see and channeled it into mech form, that we may catch a glimpse of it without fear of instantly losing our sanity. If you're running MWO at very high graphical settings, try not to look directly at the CPLT-C1(F) up close, as you will wake up in a pool of your own bodily fluids, still tingling with waves of involuntary spasms.
TL;DR- Nice custom geometry is nice.

TL;DR: it has a pointy nose.

Not that it matters, but have you seen the variety of Table Top figures for Catapults available? They run the gamut of everything you described with the addition of size. The old plastic ones are probably the best example of what it should look like....it's a Star League deisgn, so it should be smooth and round....downside is that it's bigger than an Atlas. Oh well.
