I presume you're joking. You don't actually want to pay $500.00 for a skin.
Well at least you're not Draconis Combine if you do...

You're welcome to them all.
It's not well known, but the REAL reason the clans eventually lose the Invasion war is because they spent too much money on gold skins and didn't have enough supplies left over to actually fight the war. They were shiny though!

However I support releasing GOLD resistance mechs! I'm not going to buy one, but I'd love to see someone in one just like when I see (G) mechs now.

He's Marik.
Honestly the only group that has more money than the Steiners is the Mariks far as fluff goes. Though that's mainly because Mariks have sat out of virtually every war due to their politics and bureaucratic red tape literally getting them nowhere.
Truth be told, I'm not gonna buy a gold mech regardless. But if someone wants one, meh, more power to them.
(Side note: Gold mechs make sense for Clans. From what I understand it is very normal for the Khan or leader of a Clan to ride in a mech whose armor is thinly topped with gold plating.)

I dunno about 500 dollars for gold.
But I'd eagerly pay about 30 bucks for one covered in rust, calcium run-off from the vents, etc., where whatever paint colors I put on it will show as very faded and 'old' paint on a rustbucket.

You mean like our founder mechs?

Like the original paintjob for our founder's mechs, yes.
Back when they were all 2k textures... (only the Atlas is 2k now).
But yes, that kind of wear and tear. It'd be fitting on any mech from a fluff standpoint... even more so on a loveable trashcan!
