Last time I touched the game was several months to almost a year or so ago.

The garage loadout system has drastically changed. And it's kicking the hell outta me trying to figure out how to loadout again.

1. I notice there is a grid \ list button to view how the loadout should display? If so I can't click it to work.

2. Any way to toggle what you have owned vs not owned? I really don't want to see the big huge list of 30 engine types when I just want to switch between the two I own, same goes for weapons etc.

3. don't suppose there's a way to simply click on the mech like the old loadout used to, instead of the big @$$ list on the far left of the screen?

I watched a few tutorial vids, none of em seemed to answer my questions. that and most of them are dated :*( (2012 ish)

I did see some Spike guy's 2014 video of the loadout. didn't help me much

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated

Thanks for the responses everyone! Ok then. Just have to soldier on until the new UI etc is implemented as y'all stated. Those are my only concerns for now.

The best I can say is Smurfy is your savior: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab

Spike Brave has a bunch of new player guide videos, he may have done another one on the ui and even then he has covered the new maps and all that too, so check his youtube channel out again.

Yeah the UI is cluttered but they were supposedly working on a new player experience guide after Community Warfare, like steam update, new tutorial, etc. They did have the plan: http://www.mwomercs.com/theplan But it's very outdated, as you can see Community Warfare is good to go, new maps are out, new modes are out, etc.

1. Currently that doesn't work unfortunately. Would be quite handy if it did.

2. No, not currently. You will have to unfortunately have to wade through all those items.

3. Also not an option either.

Basically the user interface is going to undergo a revamp at the beginning of the new year. This has been mentioned by Russ Bullock on several occasions.

Features to be included, is a mech lab screen similar to what you want older UI/mech skeleton, with the ability to drag and drop what you want. Along with better sorting and filtering features, a new storefront, news and so on.
