With our border getting closer to opening a second front, I think it'd be best if we explored some options:

A) engage the FRR and take what territory we can while Ghost Bears continue their march south (space-south)

B ) continue to commit all forces to push deeper into kurita

C) push both fronts. Our smaller population could make this especially tricky with the recent territory increases.

WE do not control which planets are open as we advance, PGI does.

Until we meander our way into a place close enough to trigger an attack into FRR space, this is all sadly moot.

Not to mention with the open dislike pgi has for the clans(I know paul for sure) we should exspect pgi to hamper our efforts every step of the way. I am sure pgi picking our worlds for us is just the tip of the iceberg

There are many strong units in EU timezone. Like russian' Varangian Guard (VRGD). But while bears continue move deeper in Kurita space we can't start engagement to FRR. Maybe this is better for now.
