I agree that there could be better, but I still feel like it is the ULTIMATE brawler. Load that bad boy up with AC/20, Pulse Lasers, faster engine and some Triple-Strength Moyemer and run right through a group of baddies punching and shooting. *shudder* Here's to hoping for physical combat in the future

No, it was introduced in 3063, the game starts in 3049

Since there is nothing in the OP limiting this to IS 'mechs, scariest/biggest 'mech on the battlefied, to me, is a Warhawk.

The only reason I ever actually played with the Behemoth in MW4 was because it was the only mech with a large enough ballistic slot to fit the RailGun
On topic though, I believe that the Atlas is the biggest in game (at the moment of course:) ).

I'm not sure, have the devs ever said that there will be mechs heavier than 100t?
Or they even never spoke about this?
