Seriously there should be comm buttons. Like if we clicked a button in Hawken then we can ask for help/spot an enemy. This should also be here, too many times I see a foolish pug walking out there an instantly getting vaporized, and same as if I was under attack. I ask for help, not a single man will attempt to protect me even slightly. The difficulty in comms is frustrating; this, bug fixes for CW, a steam update, and a better new player guide is MANDATORY.

Honestly, we won't need that button if they could get an in-game VOIP client. I think they are working on one, but who knows how long it'll take before it's implemented.

This would help a lot. Getting a button for spotting would be good but we have "R" already. A button requesting help would be great as some people don't want to be on Comms in games

Command wheel is in development, i'm sure it will have some plea for help, and other stuff.

This, This, and more This. In-game VoiP client would fix so many of these problems.

Yeah I agree. The only issue is time, I do want something like this asap so pug matches are more enjoyable (or at least half decent). Group matches versus pug matches is leagues away and if VOIP + Command Wheel is there then comms wouldn't be half as bad.

The only thing on VOIP is that pug ques might be toxic in game.

We'll need optional muting in there. Force everyone to use Push-to-talk, and keep it team only.

Even PuG queues will still not be good enough to dent 12 mans (aside from just the fact that everyone is friends in a 12 man, they also train together, know each other's tactics, and style of play, plus a LOT of trust in that their buddies can get their jobs done), but they'll be significantly better.

With the game's current CPU allocation issues I'm not sure that tacking a VOIP client onto the game is feasible idea. I also have bad memories of public voice chat on Xbox Live :(

I don't know if anyone remembers Tribes 2 but a functional-yet-capable prebuilt command list like that game had would be useful IMO.
