I was wondering if anyone else enjoys visual novels (computer books that include music and pictures along with script), and if so, what titles?

I really liked Analogue: A Hate Story, and it was generally very well received. Haven't gotten to its sequel, Hate Plus. They're both on sale on Steam right now.
Depression Quest, a Twine game, was pretty good. I know people often decide to like it or hate it based on the developer, but I gave it a swing and found it to be quite good. Not sure if I would say "great", but it did use something quite ingenious. Available for free.
I've heard great things about Long Live the Queen. Haven't played it, will probably be picking it up during the Steam sale. Right now its 50% off, though there's a good chance it'll dip to 75% off.
Hatoful Boyfriend if you ever wanted to date a pigeon.

I have enjoyed most of the ones I have played - but I have not played many.
Got introduced to the genre through some unamed (far as I remember) Touhou fan-made one with no choices, but a fairly fun story about Flandre going for a walk (against the rest of the mansion's wishes)
Been working (slowly) through Katawa Shoujo though - and so far it well deserves it's reputation
Edit: fair warning about KS though - it does have mature scenes in it - and they cannot be completely turned off (much to my irritation - as it is more of a half-arsed implementation than anything here)
