Thunderbolt 9S is popular for good reasons. When I play FRR in CW i use this

Weak against massive missile spam from clan but solid against competitive teams.
I used this build to kill a competitive player who would regular score 13 kills every match.
It is possible to score a lot of damage against the enemy with this build almost no matter how badly your team plays.
Not sure about those small lasers as I could badly need more AMS ammo for CW with this mech.
Remember to equip advanced zoom module for those high damage/kill numbers.

why do you put 2x ahalf ton of ammo in the legs? better put a single ton in the head. your head has 15 internal HP, the chance that someone causes a hit that crits this out would mostly anyways blew your head of.

I felt the feet were safe. The thunderbolt high hard point mostly ensures you don't expose your legs anyway. Sometimes you do get hit in the head in CW, I had one match I got two headshots from the same player when running a thunderbolt.
Besides most of the time my AMS ammo runs out long before my thunderbolt gets killed, I don't think it makes much difference if the AMS ammo is in the head or legs.
