Is this a valid tactic? I just witnessed this from a 12-man clanner group. The entire drop was summoners and they charged each gate and JJ'd over the gates and charged the generators. After that they took down one gate and some timbers came through while another lance JJ'd over the gates again.

It was pretty slick, effective and fast but is this the new strategy? Makes me ask what the point is for having the gates in the first place.

(could we see it raining victors soon?)

Why shouldn't it be a valid tactic, though its not going to happen in a pug :)

Seems perfectly legit to me and I was just thinking about picking up the summoner for just that reason alone. Just like the 12 king crab buffet* and the 12 firestarter** blitz. Strike hard and strike true mechwarrior.

* Downright scary!!!
** Little buggers, I can't kill them all arrrrgggghhhh
