CW is still seeing Light Zerg attacks... although now its first 2 waves of Lights ... followed by Assaults... then a final Light Zerg attack (at least it takes 2-4 waves instead of just one now)..

I"m not complaining but I was thinking... what are some decent Light hunting mechs? The Last time I hunted Light mechs was almost 2 years ago in my Raven 3L (3 medium lasers and 2 SSRM2s that only hit Center Torso)..

Remember the days when Medium Mechs and all light mechs would run away at the sight of a Raven 3L? Well yah... I need some advice on Inner Sphere Light mech hunting.

ya wanna hunt lights with a light? Are you a good shot? Then go with the SMPL firestarters and aim for the legs.

Forget streaks. Pack a ton of lasers and aim for legs

The key is to leg then immediately change targets. Mop up happens after you stop the zerg rush.

Turrets probably do most of the work for you

Entire team needs to be on the same page as well

Clans have it easy just boat 5 x ssrm6 . Is you have to dual gauss or get a fast medium with srm. Hawk with 3x6srm and 1x4 srm will blow the legs off a light. Everything else is too slow.

Kintaro was good, once upon a time.

I still have mine with the hopes they will buff IS streaks someday.

if you are playing Defense and want to defend against light rushes

7MPL thunderbolt is really good. Can really melt those legs

The A1 is still a decent light hunter as a streakboat. But you won't be able to use it against anything larger.

TB's are the only mech needed for CW defense. Long range PPC snipers backed up with wubbolts.

Seriously. Have about two thirds 3x ERPPC TDR-9S and the rest 7x MPL TDR-5SS. If the team is half-way coordinating fire, the enemy will have a hard time even getting through the gate.
