I've been fighting the same two maps for a few days now... Getting a little old. I've also noted that this game mode is ridiculously in favor of the defender. To win you almost always have to ball up taking heavy losses doing next to zero mech combat and killing gens... Cant we do something more like king of the Hill or the 3 other game modes we have in this game. Not to mention when new guys are on your team, we had people shooting the gates themselves! I'm pretty sure I have an imprint of my palm on my face atm. The mode is broken ESPECIALLY on boreal. Which requires the literal sacrifice of a few mechs to take down the gens. My stormcrow rarely makes it past the gate in the first wave.

Maybe they just need a single gate , or no gate at all as the attacking team can lose several mechs just trying to get the gate gens down.
But in all essence the game should have been balanced before doing CW. Still a lot of oddities in the 'balance' side (some of which are long standing due to people not understanding what they actually did in an attempt to balance the game!).
The queue really needs sorting out too (there I am sitting in the queue and all of a sudden nearly all the waiting pilots vanish! but the number waiting is the same... so I can only presume the were put into a different team. I guess it does not take the time you have been waiting into consideration).

Well OP, dont face palm to hard at people shooting the gate, I mean...it only makes sense that in order to get through the gate you gotta shoot it down somehow. Its not readily apparent what it is you need to shoot and how to shoot it. Heck, ive done like 7 games in CW and I still honestly dont know where exactly im supposed to shoot to bring the gate down. I know the building its on but where to shoot.....not sure exactly....

Find the recent town hall meeting on cw that russ and the ngng did. I can't frm my phone. They announced 2 other maps for cw. One is canyon network based but don't remember the other.one may be out by febuary too.
Give them time. Reworks of all the old PQ maps are on the table... possibly making them bigger.
