Shout Out To Cgbi

But then, instead of finishing the fight, they gave us a fight. Initiating one on one duels, and just having some fun with it. It allowed all of us solo puggers a chance to get some good creds, LP, and XP, as well as some REALLY fun fights. I earned more c-bills, xp, and LP from that loss than I do most victories.
When they were down to their last mechs, the decided to finish it then and took out our cannon.
I just wanted to give them two thumbs up for some good sportsmanship, even if there were some of us puggers who were a bit displeased with having to fight a premade. I may not like clanners, but the next round of drinks is on me, for CGBI. Thanks for the great game.

Quite the opposite to Clan Jade Flacon in MW: O. Any unit there wouldn't think twice about ending the game right away.

However IS tend to try to sneak a win from under you with sneak attacks and the like!

It's funny that people are happy that some folks like to play with their prey before they kill them. I guess you gotta do something after enough easy wins.

We're just more efficient by going straight for the business at hand. We also generally don't play with our prey before eating them.

Shout out to Tyman and Tuann for offering Zellbrigen at the end of a brutal roflstomp yesterday. They did the same thing, coming out to give us a fight when they saw which way things were going. At least some of the losing players got an 80 match score that way.
I was the last survivor on my team, rocking my AWS-8Q with 3 PPC's and a small laser. One of their guys in a damaged Mad Dog offered the challenge. Unfortunately, some non-CGBI players interfered, but for a little moment, there was a pretty sweet scene with the last Inner Sphere assault mech standing alone in the snow-covered plains of Boreal vault, surrounded by piles of burning allied mechs, going up against a single Ghost Bear heavy mech, with the rest of the Clan observing at a distance. It doesn't happen often in MWO, but it's nice when it happens.

They've kind of been disappointing.
That being said, the experience described in the OP is pretty cool. Kudos to them for allowing it!

I have fun winning, and not wasting time. So we can get in another match quickly as possible.

Well when teams are waiting up to 20 minutes (sometimes more) and the game is over in 5 minutes, from a base rush, I consider that the biggest waste of time possible for everyone.

Umm it's also hard for the winning team if they just rush. It think it's hilarious how this is being spun as being magnanimous.
