This thread is going to get censored or deleted as it violates the policy against Name & Shame posts.

I've also reported him already for 2 games I saw him in. Take screen shots (or video) and report offender's name, date & time of incident, map, game mode, and any other relevant info to support@mwomercs.com.

We seriously need a mechanism that is able to detect if a player is shooting at teammates deliberately and does something about it without a person needing to interact.
Especially since such a person will - if you ban him - simply create a new account and carry on.
The Mech the person in question used was a Nova Prime, most likely a Trail Mech.

So what ever PGI wants to do with them, it has to be done automatically be the game itself.

How do detect:
First of all, if a player shoots teammates within say the first 60 seconds of a game this is a good indicator.
After this period of time it will become more difficult.

Possible counter-actions:
- reflect the damage back to the player dealing it
- heat-penalty
- weapons will become unavailable
- immobilize the teamkiller and give away his position on the map to the enemy team
- get creative, PGI. Annoy the Heck out of such people. ;)

Also, players that have not played their first 25 matches should be more severely punished by the game then veterans in order to condition them better.

Oh, btw.:
The player in question did not only kill teammates, he also advertised a site which apparently offers game-hacks and cheats.

I also saw him in the Trial Hunchback. Guessing large alphas combined with spawning away from assaults lets him maximize the number of players he can TK.

/sigh

I guess this is what happens when the kids are on break from school. Were it up to me, he'd be IP banned by now.

At any rate, we need to stop talking about this, just report. This is just giving him the kind of attention he wants.

And also, heavies and assaults as trial mechs should not be offered to players with less than 1000 games, it leads to idiots making rofl videos and posting them on youtube as trolls. Also makes the weight worthless when you have an obvious novice taking up lots of tonnage.

Does PGI ever IP ban people? Blatant TKers should get that immediately.
