After a weekend of CW (about 30 rounds), a few things...

Not BAD, not enjoyable most of the time, but not a continuous kick in the groin either.

1. To get more of the players involved with CW More variety in the missions;
a. Scouting missions for solo and lances. say 60 or so with the markers like the 15 that are around the target world, these scouting missions would open up...
b. ... Skirmishes and small encounters for lance to 12man single drops.. say 30 or so(as above) With our normal Maps we have.. which would then lead to....
c. ... Something like what we have now with the larger main 30min 4wave drops. on the 2 CW maps(more to come I'm sure).

This would add a greater amount of time for a world to fall but also have something for those who can't or won't wait the 5-15min for some of these CW drops, and those units that don't have 12 people... and us PUGS :P

2. COUNTER- ATTACK.... good god. My one comment is this should be a little bit rough for the defender having just blown the place to hell.
a. Fewer if any turrets
b. A gate (or both), that doesn't work
c. and Make it a Skirmish with 1, maybe 2 waves, to dislodge them...
d. .. with a lower weight limit, perhaps only half of the original CW drop weights... for faster resolution.

3. Having to have a Faction to even play in CW. Boo to you for that PGI.. as I had a Faction... was called LONE WOLF... now I have to fly colors , if you are going to force it, at last get the Periphery States listed :P

...or, perhaps, list some of the larger Merc units that sponsor smaller ones listed as well. Wolf's Dragoons, Kell Hounds, Gray Death Legion...those should be factions, too.

1. Not sure if they would really bring this in except as a way of including other maps and faster game types.

2. Counterattack ideas are excellent. I'd support this fully.

3. Inner sphere wars are related to the major houses. Lone wolves and periphery states would get crushed in all out warfare against the great houses. To participate in CW, you really have to ally yourself with a major faction, and this goes for mercs as well despite multiple threads on those who want their merc corps to compete against house armies and claim independent territory. Technically you still are lone wolf, only you choose for whom you want to fight.

Yeah, counterattacking is pain right now.

I remember them saying somewhere that the merc corps and lone wolves will get into CW at a later point. They want to test all the core features first and are only temporarily forcing you to faction up. Or at least that's what I remember hearing.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

They won't do anything with it, we didn't provide it on the "official" feedback site for MW:O. For that, we'd have to put all this stuff on Twitter ( they used to use Reddit, but we all know how that ended up.)
