In another thread started in this forum I had an idea on the CW Invasion setup.
Spread the Mini-Generators out more.
Make them harder to hit from only a few locations. It would also make it so that lights would have to travel father making the Zerg Rush harder.
A good layout change would be for the mini-gens to be spread out so that there is more distance between them. As it is on both Boreal and Sulfur you can hit two of the min-gens from one spot with medium to short range weapons, depending on map.
The mini-generators should be placed in such a way as to make the travel time be marked for a light rush. In such a way that a group of fast mediums have a chance of intercepting them short of the objective.
Example:
Boreal
Mini-Gen 1
Place the Mini-Gen in an open top bunker similar to placement now in the area behind the turret at near the F6/F7 area
Mini-Gen 2
Leave in place.
Mini-Gen 3
Place in an open top bunker near the turret in G6
This would place the turrets in locations that would make defense more flexible as well as giving the defenders more time to intercept. As it stands the mini-gens are too close together for effective defense.

I think there should be some randomization in their placement. Having them always be in the exact same location every single time is way too predictable. There should be something like 6-12 places they could potentially be. Also they shouldn't show up on the map until a friendly mech is within 500m or something.
