Just tested MWO on my Lenovo Z50-75. Not great performance but I survived, won, and scored enough to get the stocking stuffer award all in in a Locust with SRMs, small laser. Ran at about 25 FPS sometimes lower. Lowest settings, little choppy at times but it was doable.

CPU: A10-7300
GPU: Integrated R6
RAM: 16GB Patriot Viper 1600 9,9,9,24 1.35v
PNY Optima SSD with Silicon Motion controller
USB mini mouse too
Windows 8.1 64bit.
Plugged in.
I selected the option to run it on the 64bit client too. Also I was using a Thermaltake laptop chillpad cooler. Not sure if that allows my CPU to run higher for longer.

Latest OMEGA drivers
I wouldn't use it as my main MWO gaming rig but in a pinch it works. The choppiness might actually increase your accuracy. Line it up, see the pause, fire SRMS. Good Ol' shotgun method.

One of my local MWOers plays the game on an A8 Trinity APU (that isn't even maxed on RAM...) and gets decent enough FPS to even play heavy/assault brawlers and win so it comes as no shock to me that your much-superior Kaveri APU, while not providing the optimal experience, is more than enough to get the job done.

The APUs punch above their weight in gaming; One of my local MWOers has a Lenovo Y-series gaming laptop with an Intel iGPU and Nvidia discrete cards and when the system goofed and was running MWO on the Intel iGPU MWO was completely unplayable.

Yesterday on my regular gaming rig which is an FX-9370 and R9 290 my FPS was dipping pretty bad. Below my Kaveri laptop. Still it was on high settings and looked better but this game has random issues. Still playable.

That has been my life for the last 2 years. The dips in fps in brawls, below 10fps have made things tough, namely ballistics.

Play with making a user.cfg file to trim out even more than low settings does (often times with little to no loss in image quality ), and you can squeeze a few more fps out of that laptop.
