I'm no canine expert but I believe that's what you'd call a wolfdog. I don't think wolves can be domesticated.
With that said...that's one big-a** wolfdog.

My uncle used to have wolves as pets. The only way possible is to raise them from puppies, but only if they like you, and even then they are never tame and have real potential to tear you up or kill you. But regardless they were amazing and I enjoyed playing with them as a toddler and miss them to this day.
Edit: It's also illegal by the way

Those (and other sled-dog type breeds) look really creepy with blue eyes.

I have not seen a Malamute in real life (far as I remember) but I have met several other similar breeds
They did not seem overly large - but as right now my head is trying to compare them to Mastiffs....

I've seen an Irish Wolfhound, which was about that tall, but it was much more slender.
The one in the OP's post is just gigantic. Bigger than a Tibetan Mastiff I bet. Not as bulky, but that does not look like a slender dog either.
Pretty cool, I honestly didn't think they got that big. I can picture a pack of those pulling a loaded down sled like it was nothing.
